Spindel Farms At The NASFT Fancy Food Show In New York City

On June 26, we were off to the NASFT Fancy Food Show in New York City. This was the first time that we were able to exhibit at the show and it was fantastic!

For those who have not attended the show, this is a specialty food trade show where there are literally thousands of new specialty foods being shown and tasted.

Our unique Simply Outrageous! Pomegranate Vinegars received an excellent reception from those in attendance and we look forward to an increased availability of our products in the east as well in other regions.

The newest stores to bring in our products: A Southern Season in Chapel Hill North Carolina, The Edge of The Woods in New Haven Connecticut and Wasik’s Cheese Shop in Wellesley Massachusetts.

Pomegranate Reduction for Steamed Vegetables

Serves 4

  • 1 large bunch of your favorite greens (Bok Choy, Collards, Red Swiss Chard etc.)
  • 4 tsp. Olive Oil
  • 1-2 cloves of fresh chopped Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Spindel Farms™ Simply Outrageous!™ Pomegranate Vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper as desired

Heat Olive Oil in a large saute pan over medium high heat. Add Garlic and stir quickly until just brown. Add Vinegar and allow to simmer until reduced and just slightly thick. Then add your rinsed greens; toss until wilted.
